Meet Yvette Figueroa

Everyone has a vision of the setting in which they would like to live their best story. Extracting the details of what makes up these visions, designing spaces, understanding life course development and how needs change with time, and listening to the unique circumstances of every individual are what motivates Yvette to want to be a part of a client’s real estate journey.

Yvette came to Raleigh 21 years ago to be surrounded by a large extended family. Originally from New York, she graduated from Cornell University and went on to medical school at The University of Pennsylvania. From there she completed a residency in both Adult and Child Psychiatry at The University of Pittsburgh’s Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. She spent many years in academic medicine and group practices in Pittsburgh, Arizona, and in North Carolina.

Yvette knows the value of prioritizing education and matching individuals to local resources. She has raised three children in the Raleigh/Durham area, two currently enrolled in medical school, and one, with special needs, graduating from high school and transitioning to the workforce. Throughout the years, she and her husband have bought and sold nine properties including vacation properties at the coast. She has an eye for design and has completed one year of Interior Design coursework at Wake Technical Community College.

In addition to surrounding herself with family and friends,Yvette loves escaping to the beautiful NC coast, hiking and playing tennis.
