For her, real estate is the perfect environment for exercising her business skills and her passion for incorporating an element of grace into all aspects of life.
With experience in banking, marketing and business development, Cathy developed her own consulting practice to serve comprehensive marketing needs of small professional firms. Providing a wide range of services, she handled referral development, public relations, event planning and press relations. For a period away from California, she was a REALTOR in Aiken, South Carolina and represented buyers and sellers in the historic town known for equestrian activities and golf.
A firm believer in the power of relationships, Cathy has carried southern hospitality around the world and made it the theme of her home in California where she hosted international clients of her husband’s global company. Her personal interests include travel, interior design, and film. When possible, she works as crew or co-produces for her son’s independent films. A licensed on-air disc jockey at 16, Cathy continues a great love of music.
Trading palm trees for pines, Cathy left California and returned to her East Coast roots in 2017. A native Virginian with family ties in North Carolina, she graduated from the College of William and Mary. Avid Tar Heel supporters, Cathy and her husband Don have a blended family of four, including two UNC graduates, one from UNCG, and one from Greensboro College. Their Jack Russell Terrier, Zack, manages the household.
